• The HP Gimbal Housing uses a thicker than stock casting.
• The HP helmets have been beefed up in all critical areas including the pin locations that are normally prone to failure.
• The HP Gimbal lower swivel pin is 40% stronger than original.
• The HP Gimbal has a removable bearing pack for easy maintenance.
• The HP Gimbal nameplate can be simply unscrewed for access to the upper swivel shaft nut, without removing the housing from the transom.

IMCO Extreme HP SC Replacement Drive - Upper Only

Our Xtreme Advantage SC drive upper units are available for those who may already own a IMCO, or a stock Bravo lower.

The Billet Aluminum top cap is supported by eight bolts with a controlled water-circulation system and built in spray nozzles to provide maximum cooling to the external upper gear case.

The steel tower in the floor is stabilized through internal lateral support beams to eliminate tower flex and gear deflection.

IMCO has developed a rigid pinion and bearing pack assembly with non-elastic shims to provide the correct rolling torque while stabilizing both input yoke and pinion. Tightened to 75 lb/ft, the pinion assembly is held in place by our plated steel ujoint retainer nut through a direct load-bearing path.

IMCO Gimbal Ring Kit - Mercury Top Pin

Now you can eliminate the weak link in your drive train and run without the worry of mechanical failure. The Gimbal Ring gives your drive the strength it needs. Gimbal Ring Kit Black (Mercury Gimbal) must be used with hydraulic steering

This unit is designed to fit an IMCO lower unit or IMCO nose cone and provides a way to flush water through the engine cooling system to clear salt residue.

Note:  This item will not fit a stock Bravo with low water pickup.

Powerflow manifolds are manufactured using the finest materials and most advanced techniques available. The high quality aluminum manifold castings feature water jackets that surround each exhaust passage, including the port, to eliminate the possibility of burn out.

 The outside manifold surfaces are then coated with the highest quality epoxy powder coating available, creating a part that not only is highly corrosion resistant, but good looking as well. Features an external fitting to accept stock MerCruiser thermostat plumbing.

NOTE: NO O2 PROVISION

This exhaust system will not work with Hardin Marine Accessory Drive Kits 625-8312 and 625-8313 and closed cooling kit 625-8574.
