Mercury Racing Style Ignition Kill Switch For Points Or Electronic Ignitions These switches are the ultimate in safety design. The snap off cap will release in a full 360-degree circle. This switch is recognized by all major boat racing associations. The switch utilizes a spring-loaded safety button that will immediately close the circuit when the cap comes off. This is a normally open switch and will cut the power when the cap is pulled to a standard ignition.
