The Marine YL Series Point Type Distributors can drive both original equipment and high performance ignition coils. For best results always use a Mallory PROMASTER® Coil Part No. 29440 or Mallory Chrome Ignition Coil Part No. 29217. The Marine YL Series Point Type Distributors are also an excellent choice for triggering the Mallory Marine HYFIRE® Electronic Ignition Control Part No. 697M.
PERFORMANCE FEATURES Stabilized points eliminates point float and bounce; high dielectric strength condenser with brass case eliminates corrosion. Mylar insulation provides greater protection against current leaks and shorting; super-duty cap and rotor; self-lubricating precision bushings.
