Race proven, these snouts have stood up to the most demanding of blower drive systems. The drive snouts utilize heavy-duty C-3 bearings and a heavy-duty oil seal. The snout housing is crafted from aircraft billet aluminum and the main shaft is made from 4340 heat treated steel. The 1-1/4″ x 48 spline of the main shaft connects to the blower gear coupler bolted to the face of the blower gear. #8604 – CLAMP ON BELT GUARD BRACKET This #8604 Clamp on Belt Guard Bracket is designed to mount to a TBS 71 Series blower snout. It is machined for use on a 3.437″ DIA. snout body. It’s 3 bolt pattern is the same as a TBS XR1, SSI, or Kobelco Cover. This is the perfect Bracket for use of a #8601 XR Belt Guard on those longer snouts, or it can be used with an RCD 3 Bolt Starter Bracket on your race blower. It does have 2 provisions for snout supports if needed. #8604 – Clamp for XR Belt Guard: Fits 5.90” – 8.40” Snouts. Includes: Belt Guard Clamp [x1] 1/4 – 20 x 1” S.H.C.S.
