Deck & Dash Hardware - Hatch Actuators and Rams
How to Order the Best Replacement Hatch ActuatorGetting the best replacement actuator for an old Acculift or similar Actuator is easy. Follow these steps and compare these features to get the best bang for your buck. Step 1: Measure the center to center on the two mounting holes of your current actuator while closed. Step 2: Measure the center to center on the two mounting holes of your current actuator while fully open. The difference in these measurements is the stroke length. Actuators are measured by stroke length, for example an 18" actuator will travel 18" fully closed to fully open. Step 3: Compare the features below and select an actuator of the correct stroke length. Check the dimensions on the product page to make sure the actuator will fit under your hatch when fully closed! |
