In the world of professional offshore powerboat racing the top teams are always looking for ways to save weight without sacrificing performance and durability Hardin Marine knows there is no better way to test a product than to expose it to the abuses and demands of full blown racing After hours of competition these Xtreme aluminum engine mounts have passed the test with flying colors CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, these mounts are half the weight of conventional steel mounts Complete with stainless steel fasteners each mounting hole has a stainless steel bushing to ensure a secure fit and prevent premature wear. Staggered mounts are common for v-bottom installations. A convenient option on the rear engine mounts is an upper plate extension to mount the engines starter relay, wiring harness plug and MSD box or coil.
