6M-2L Marine Ignition Control Box with Rev Limiter 120-6560
What do you get when you add a rev limiter to the MSD’s already bullet-proof 6M-2 Marine Ignition? The MSD 6M-2L! This ignition is designed for performance marine applications where a high energy and reliable ignition is a necessity. The capacitive discharge (CD) multiple sparks from the 6-series circuitry ensures easier starting, improved performance and reduced plug fouling while idling.
High Vibration Coil (no standard coil in this kit) 120-8222
Metal canister is encased with epoxy to protect the windings from high vibration applications
Improved output coil for electronic ignitions, and MSD Ignitions (ballast resistor required for points)
100:1 turns ratio and lower primary resistance produce high voltage output
The 8MM Spark Plug Wires are replacements for discontinued MSD 3148 wires. The stainless steel conductor offers lower resistance for maximum voltage carrying capabilities and will not affect other ignition controls or on-board electronics. The outer sleeve is constructed of a tough high temperature silicone jacket. An excellent upgrade for OEM plug wires.
