The Weiand Pro-Marine supercharger is the most
practical, efficient and effective way to gain substantial horsepower and torque
over the entire RPM range for your conventional inboard, v-drive, jet or
MerCruiser stern drive powered boat. Superchargers deliver extra power
when you need it, for pulling up water skiers, planing off heavy loads or
anytime you accelerate aggressively. Although it is mechanically
belt-driven off the crankshaft, the supercharger generates boost only when the
throttle is opened sufficiently to induct a substantial volume of air and fuel.
The Weiand Pro-Marine supercharger is proven dependable, so much so that
MerCruiser's HP 525SC high performance stern drive package comes standard
equipped with the system. Weiand currently offers complete Pro-Marine
supercharger kits in two basic models (small and big block Chverolet V8
engines). All Weiand Pro-Marine superchargers are available in two
attractive finishes; natural satin and highly polished. Due to the wide
range of variety on small and big block Chevrolet kits for conventional inboard,
jet and v-drives. NOTE: Must specify aluminum or steel crank pulley when ordering.
