Mayfair Tie Bar

These tie bars are custom made to the center to center drive dimension you specify. Measure the distance from prop shaft to prop shaft and insert it in the box below. Clevis ends are machined from billet 316L stainless steel, no inexpensive castings are used in keeping with the high quality traditions of Hardin Marine! This tie bar has no saddles and is designed to go between the wingplates on a drives with Mayfair Hydraulic Steering.

NOTE: Tie Bars Longer than 36" will need to be quoted.

The tie bar saddles are formed out of 1-1/4" thick 316 stainless steel Pivot pins are machined from 3/4" diameter round bar and are stepped for a 3/16" thick retaining washer Clevis ends are investment cast 316 for superior strength and drive misalignment The tie bar is machined from solid 1" diameter and polished to a mirror like finish.
