Power Steering Pumps

This is the ultimate power steering mount assembly. This system combines a high flow water inlet crossover that is available in either a single or dual inlet configuration with the Extreme Series Power Steering Pump. The power steering pump uses a very desirable short V-belt that is run off of a custom designed 2-groove sea pump pulley. This kit includes a power steering pump, crossover with power steering mount, a dual groove sea pump pulley, the V-belt and mounting hardware.

This kit offers all the necessary components to add a complete power steering pump assembly to your engine. This performance inspired pump produces 1250 PSI at operating RPM. This pump features an oil reservoir attached to the pump and uses the popular JIC style fittings for ease of installation.

A precision machined billet cylinder head mounting bracket and Tru-Trac billet V-groove pulley are included.

The amount of volume a power steering pump must produce to adequately operate a full hydraulic marine power steering system is dictated by the number of hydraulic cylinders incorporated in the system. The gallons per minute produced by the pump must coincide with the cubic inch displacement required by the steering cylinders. In other words the same pump flow for a 2 cylinder system would not keep up with the demands of a 4 cylinder system as used on a dual #6 SSM stern drive powered boat. In the past a standard pump or high volume pump had to be built specifically for the application.

Hardin Marine has addressed this problem with their Extreme Power Steering Pump. By simply changing the outlet high pressure fitting, the same pump will now deliver the proper volume supply to any marine high performance steering system on the market today. Mounted on Hardin Marines' water crossover cover and belt driven off the sea pump below makes for a convenient installation.

This power steering mounting bracket is designed for a upper starboard side mount on big block Chevrolet engines. This heavy duty steel bracket is powder coated black for corrosion protection. This bracket accepts most popular GM power steering pumps and is supplied with the necessary mounting hardware.

This is the ultimate fluid return reservoir cap. No welding is required. This is one of the many features in our standard kit that makes ours better. We actually do installation, so we actually know what fits, and what doesn't.

This filter is a high pressure low micron filter and is one of the best we've seen. This filter is an excellent accessory for any performance boat with external steering. A mounting bracket is included.

This adapter was designed to aid in the installation of an add-on hydraulic steering system on boats manufactured 1994 and later equipped with a Brazilian shuttle valve.

This kit is standard equipment with our steering systems. But if your boat was originally equipped with rubber lines, this is the ultimate upgrade and really finishes off a professional installation.
