This flame arrestor features a high quality base plate construction that incorporates a ram air velocity stack style mounting base that will seamlessly attach to your OEM throttle body. The arrestor also uses a multi-weave, sandwiched high flow spark retention screen to allow maximum flow characteristics while providing maximum safety.
The Mercury 496 & 496HO is an open exhaust configuration that can exceed noise level limits required by law. This can now be rectified with these direct replacement silencers.
