A WICKED DRIVE SHOWER:

Just Wicked Marine has taken Drive Shower technology to the next level!

Just Wicked Marine has developed a drive shower that has out performed every competitor's drive shower  tested to date.

Pick-Up Ports:

Has specially designed and tested pick-up ports that deflects more water up the tubes than any other shower on the market (45° deflection port). The pick up ports are also adjustable up to 1-1/2 inches thru the cavitation platethanks to the Delrin plastic collar clamps.

Dump Ports:

With the 20 redesigned discharge ports the water sprays across the drive in a fan pattern so that the water is in direct contact with more of the drives hot surface. Plus one anti-clog port at the top helps prevent the fan spray ports from clogging up with debris.

Performance:

This Shower/Cooler has 3 times the water flow than the very popular shower cap design and has a 15-40° lower drive oil temperature. This Shower/Cooler also delivers more water to the drive than the patented 90deg design ( 25% more at 90mph). With Just Wicked Marine’s Shower/Cooler design you get more water flow and lower drive oil temperature. GUARANTEED

Application:

Thanks to the 2 specially designed adjustable mounting clamps this shower/cooler will fit Alpha One, Alpha One Gen Two, Bravo One, Two and Three and soon they will also fit pre-alpha, TR-TRS. (One drive shower kit that will fit so many drives).

Colors:

These are the only Shower/Coolers on the market today that you can get in colors. Available in your choice of Satin, Polished, Red, Blue, Purple, Teal or Black.
Each kit contains:

1 Drive Shower/Cooler, 2 specially designed polished brackets, 2 polished 3/8-16 bolts, 2 polished 3/8 washers, 2 polished spacers, 2 Delrin plastic collar clamps, 2 Allen wrenches, 2 drill bits and a full color illustrated installation instruction sheet. No other Drive Shower Manufacturer supplies you with the tools you need.

All metal parts to the Shower/Coolers are 304 stainless steel (including bolts, washers and spacers). Plus 2 Delrin plastic collar clamps.

Drive Shower Test Results:
To ensure that we have the best drive shower on the market for our customers, we have gone through the trouble to test every competitor's drive showers performance.

We test water flow every 10 mph starting at 30 mph and ending at 100 mph. Both starboard and port sides are tested. We have found that both sides flow the same amount of water. Thereby busting the myth that installing the pick-up port for the single port pick-up showers on one side or the other depending on prop rotation is wrong. We also test water flow at different drive angles (from -5 degrees to +15 degrees or until the water stops flowing).

Below we have the test results from testing the standard 45° pick-up, 80° pick-up, 90° pick-up and our new design that we call the 45° deflection pick-up port. Each port is extended 3/4 inch below the cavitation plate. Data shows water flow (gpm) at three different angles. 0°, +8° and +12°. Every pick-up port failed to supply water at +15°. Most boats will run their drives at +8° to +12° at WOT (wide open throttle). 0° represents the prop output shaft at the same angle of that to the motors crank shaft.

All 80° designs we found are on single pick-up cap/hat style coolers. So to compare the 80° design we used two 80° pick-up ports for our tests. So if you have one of those shower cap/hat designs with the 80° pick-up port divide our number by 2 and that is the water flow you are getting to your drive.

At 0 degrees the data stops at 60 mph because the test boat would not go any faster with the drive at this angle.

Now if we graph both 8° and 12° drive angle data on the same chart you can see that our design will not lose flow as the drive angle increases like the standard 45°, 80° and 90° designs. But all designs lost all flow at +15° drive angle.

O.K. I'm sure you are sick of charts by now but here's one more.

Now if we take all the data we got from +6° to +12° drive angles, averaged it out and graphed it, it would look like this.

We found this to be quite interesting. The standard 45° and the 90° performance are right on top of each other. This makes us scratch our heads and wonder what's going on with some of the claims these other drive shower manufactures are making.

We have read all the articles, we have read all the other shower manufacture claims, we called them asking questions (got no real answers), we emailed them asking questions (again no real answers) and we have come to the conclusion that most of them have not done any type of real testing to back up their claims.

We know for a fact how much water our shower delivers to the drive (at every angle and any speed up to 100mph and port depth from 1/2 inch to 2 inches below the cavitation plate). We know what kind of temperature drop you could expect. We know for a fact how every competitor's drive shower we tested performs, water flows at every angle and any speed up to 100 mph.
