Berkeley offers both a standard duty pump shaft and a severe duty Aquamet pump
shaft. The standard pump shaft is designed for applications of 500 horsepower and below
while the severe duty shaft is for high horsepower applications exceeding 500+
horsepower. Aquamet shafts are nearly three times stronger than original equipment shafts.
