Why Plasma Moly?

Plasma moly coated, ductile iron top rings are barrel-shaped to help control oil blowby when the piston wobbles in its bore. The incredible bonding strength of the plasma moly coating results in a high resistance to heat, flaking and cylinder scuffing while the increased porosity results in improved top ring lubrication. The secondary ring's downward facing taper, in conjunction with a three-piece oil ring (available in standard or low tension), further increase sealing power to enhance performance. Recommended for street, racing or marine use.
