500 EFI Flame Arrestor (no vent tubes)
Both the 8.1 Liter 496 magnum and HP 500 EFI use throttle bodies that are designed to accept clamp-on filters. Although due to size constraints K&N has developed these oval shaped clamp-on flame arrestors to increase the amount of air available for these engines. The shape of this unit allows it to fit under the factory 496 engine cowling.
